Mr. Hobbs primarily practices in the commercial, real estate and construction litigation areas. He has represented clients at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration. Mr. Hobbs handles disputes in a wide variety of areas including breach of contract, construction, mechanic's liens, landlord/tenant, land use and entitlements, community association and condominium governance, employment, personal injury, and partnership, shareholder and other entity matters. He also represented a criminal defendant in a court-appointed federal case obtaining a reversal of the client's sentence in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Hobbs joined Armbrust & Brown in 2003 after starting his legal career at Vinson & Elkins, where he gained valuable experience working on a variety of complex litigation matters. He currently sits on the Firm's Management Committee.
