April Romero Brown works with clients and firm attorneys on zoning and land use matters. Her responsibilities include: navigating city requirements and processes; performing due diligence and site analysis; reviewing city ordinances, local government codes, legal documents, and other property restrictions pertaining to a site; managing zoning cases, permits, and other site development approvals; and engaging with stakeholders (such as neighborhood associations, advocates, and policymakers).

April joined Armbrust & Brown in 2021, bringing an extensive combination of public and private sector experience from her positions as a Policy Advisor & Communications Coordinator in the Texas House of Representatives and later to an Austin City Council Member, as well as through her client-facing work at two of the largest leading global communications and public relations firms, Weber Shandwick and Edelman.
