Kevin M. Flahive focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, real estate entitlement and development, land use matters, special utility districts and community governance.
Prior to joining Armbrust & Brown, PLLC in 2011, Kevin was an associate in the Austin offices of Clark, Thomas & Winters, PC and Coats Rose, PC.
Representative Experience
- Representation of developers and landowners in real estate due diligence, acquisition, financing, entitlement, development, and disposition matters
- Representation of several national and local homebuilders in real estate due diligence, acquisition, financing, entitlement, development, and disposition matters
- Representation of developers and landowners in zoning and permitting of residential and commercial properties
- Representation of special utility districts, such as municipal utility districts and water control and improvement districts, that provide water, sewer, drainage, road, and recreational infrastructure for real estate development projects
- Preparation of declarations of covenants, conditions and restrictions, and related governance documents for residential and mixed-use projects
- Preparation of declaration of condominium regimes and related governance documents for residential and mixed-use projects
- Formation and counseling of property owners’ associations and condominium owners’ associations
